I am out of pocket over £4k including costs to fix Joshua’s dangerous work. Joshua told me he was Gas Safe registered which is a lie. The boiler installation was unsafe including a serious leak, and I have had to pay another gas engineer to carry out remedial work just to make the system safe. I paid a 50% deposit upfront and before the work was even completed, Joshua repeatedly pressured me for the remaining balance, sending messages claiming he had no money in his account, coming across as both unprofessional and desperate.
