9.5 Leaking Shower.

The gents that came out to do the work were amazing, knowledgeable freindly and proffesional, the shower had leaked behind a large tile the tile was smashed to get to the fitting, the fitting was repaired and the large tile replaced with minimal mess and downtime. The first engineer attended and gave the area a quick look over followed by a quote. I accepted the quote and arranged for the work to be completed a week later. The engineers who attended to complete the work quickly identified that the smart thermostat I had was not completely compatible, and offered to obtain one for me. They were back very quickly and installed the correct one fairly quickly and with little disruption. With no prior warning, they want to charge £80 jist for turning up! The tradesman although the job was good, left a mess. Bathroom dirty, things (including metal pieces) dropped into toilet. Totally ruined one of our white towels - full of mess, he used it to clean something! Then - and remember this was just a leaking sink- bill for almost £240. KDE explained it would be a two day job. Quoted £1100. Turns out they were only there for half a day, fitted a new shower tray instead. I get call from Tenant with photos of appalling job with holes in the wall . KDE , said shower tray was expensive and they would refund me £150 for the bad job?! A year later, no refund! Now I have a leak again, just like last year. Called KDE and they want to charge standard call out even though they admitted to not paying me refund. Meanwhile Caretaker looks at job and lifts shower tray, wrong tray and leak now worse after a year build up.Verified reviewerJob location: WA7
