Faulty optimiser replacements
Really happy with the service from start to finish. Competitive quote and easy to book the job. Kevin turned up at the time specified and was really polite and helpful. While doing the job of replacing to faulty optimisers on my solar setup, he noticed I had a cracked roof tile and popped out to get some adhesive to repair it for me. Brilliant service. Honest, prompt, clean tidy and efficient - good prices too, thouroughly recommend
Kevin from K Jones Electrical installed our Solar Panels in 2011 and has maintained them ever since. Kevin comes promptly if we need an electrician, he is straight forward to deal with and arrives when he says he is going to. His work is clean tidy and efficient and he is helpful with advice and very reasonable on cost. Excellent service
I have used K Jones Electrical several times over the years and have found them most helpful, reliable, reasonably priced with a high standard of workmanship. Recently Louis fitted an additional twin socket and sorted two small electrical jobs for me. Delighted with the service, as always. K Jones Electrical has been trading for 18 years previous to that Kevin's father David traded in the Wealden area as a sole trader from 1969. He was qualified as an electrician in 1966, what a year! Kevin was taken on as his apprentice in 1987 and they spent 6 years working together.
Kevin then left to join a lighting maintenance company and worked for them for 10 years and worked his way up to Area Manager. Now Louis, Kevin's son has started his apprenticeship with his father.
We also have several fully qualified electricians that work for the company, 2 of which are qualified to install solar PV. We believe in investing in our staff and keep all their qualifications up to date and we have highly motivated staff who work extremely hard.
We are a Christian company who believe in being 100% honesty in all our business dealings. We believe we provide an exceptional customer service with good communication skills and a very high standard of workmanship is expected from all.
WHATS UP, WITH WATTS UP SOLAR?
We used to be known as Watts Up Solar but our customers found this extremely confusing therefore we have taken the decision to go back to our roots and re-name the business back to K Jones Electrical. We are still using the Watts Up Solar company as our Ltd name but we are officially known as Watts Up Solar t/a K Jones Electrical. There is no change to our Solar customers and we will still honour all our many installations.
Governing Bodies are NIC/EIC fully approved contractors. We choose NIC/EIC because they uphold the highest standard and we believe that we need to aim high in every area of our business.
The range our work we undertake take are as follows:
Emergency call-out for Electrical faults. Re-wires. New Builds. Lighting design for Commercial, Domestic Industrial Solar PV and Electrical. Small scale PV and large scale PV.CCTV. Cat 5 wiring. Lighting control systems. Auto gates. Electrical Testing and inspection (EICR). Electrical energy surveys. Reduction of electrical consumption. Cooker repairs and small works to large scale installations.
