    Martin replied within 5 minutes of my request for a quote to do a lock replacement. Very happy with the price quoted and the very swift date to fit. Martin was prompt, professional , friendly and took time to explain the job and how he would approach it. Fully completed in less than half an hour. Minimal noise, no mess and delighted with the finished job. Recommended highly and will definitely contact Martin again next time we need a locksmith.

    Martin fitted us three new door locks today post house move. I cannot fault his service, from start to finish. Communication was great, he even text to let me know he was running 5 minutes late. He is clearly very experienced in his trade and offered valued advice on how to maintain our locks and fixtures. Very friendly and approachable, did us a great job at a reasonable price. Thank you very much ☺️

    New lock fitted to back door.

    Couldn't rate them highly enough. Placed my job on checkatrade and within 10 mins I had a phonecall from KMG locksmiths. He was polite and asked all the relevant questions to find out what kit and parts he needed for the job then told me he could do the job at 1pm the following day. Next day I get a phonecall at 10.30am stating he could fit my job in now inbetween other jobs. He attended, had the job done in under 15mins and left. Good clean tidy worker and easy to chat to. He even diagnosed and fixed another small problem with the door latch at no extra cost. Will definately use again.

We are a small family run company with many years’ experience in locksmithing, we have high standards and take pride in our work, based in Skelmersdale we cover a large part of the North West, such as Manchester, Warrington, St Helens up to Preston out to Liverpool, Please take the time to look at the photos and reviews. All our work comes with a 12mth parts and labour warranty.

We cover a range of issues such as

  • Changing locks, such as Mortice (long round key), Euro's (standard on most houses), Nightlatches commonly known as a Yale lock (mostly found on wooden doors about shoulder height)
  • Keyed alike (one key to operate multiple locks in your household, instead of a bunch)
  • Upgrading locks to High Security (these are antisnap, antidrill, antibump and antipick) usually for peace of mind or insurance purposes
  • Extra security (you may want more locks and we have a range to help)
  • Smart locks (we don't supply these but we will fit them for you)
  • Lock repairs (some not all can be repaired, some may just want a service)
  • Door catching
  • New door hinges
