Shed base

Concrete pump hire
The pump turned up early so no issues there but after they’ve finished the person decided to clean pump through spraying concrete up mine and my neighbors house, but the biggest issue was I was told a price of £358 but when I got my invoice it had the vat put on top but unless u tell someone vat will be added you surely can’t take that on top as I would’ve never agreed to that price as nearly as much as the concrete itself, have tried a few times to speak to someone but never get a call back so am left with no alternative but to leave a bad review and to try getting my money back another routeVerified reviewerJob location: ME15Response from Lancaster Builders (Kent) Ltd
The customer called to arrange a pump only for his work. Our prices are always quoted Plus Vat. The delivery ticket handed to him clearly shows a Vat number with a vat section. The pump was hired from us but the concrete was arranged by his site manager. We pumped the concrete and washed out the same as always. Unfortunately concrete can be messy but washed down immediately is easily removed. This is the responsibility of his project manager at site running the job. The customer did phone and complain the following day after it would have been too late to wash the concrete residue away and resolve the issue mentioned to us. Not once did the customer mention to my colleague that he had an issue with Vat being charged.
