AVOID!
Just a little warning to avoid Lewis Young who is targeting the community offering painting and decorating services under his company name L&A decorators based in Sutton. I stupidly paid him a deposit and he didn’t show up to work and now he has blocked my communication as I threatened legal proceedings! Plater and painting
Didn't pick call on the agreed date and didn't show up until evening, outsourced work to an inexperienced guy who came late in the evening out of non-business hours and instead of doing a decent job caused damage to property ( the floor) . He left the job half done and making it even worse by the third party furthermore took 80% of the total cost in advance and behaviour was very unprofessional and unacceptable and also blocked me when raised valid questions on when he is going to finish the task. Painting hallways
If I could give no stars I would! DO NOT USE THIS MAN. After taking over £2k of my money and showing up for about 2 days worth of work, he has £1.7k off me. He never returned to work despite multiple attempts at contacting him. He admitted he owed me a refund and then failed to send it. He stole from me!

External decorating to our property, summerhouse and two sheds including some minor repairs
Lewis Young's business was contracted to carry out the above work and sub-contracted scaffolders. Lewis promised to be on site throughout but disappeared after day 2 and a younger brother came onboard.His work was diabolical and still remains uncorrected.Lewis returned in week 2 and agreed to remove his brother.A carpenter came to quote for repairs, promised a quote which never materialised.Lewis knew the scaffolding had to be removed by 5 Aug due to our holiday but only part of it was removed by then.Since our return Lewis replied once that he was isolating but has not replied since then.Verified reviewerJob location: SM210 Posted 14 April 2021
