I was very pleased with the work Robert did for us. We had asked him to fix 2 bathroom doors that were warped and sticking. He identified a 3rd door which also needed work and said that he would be able to do all 3 in less than the fixed call out time. He was very easy to communicate with before the job, very responsive and since I was travelling gave me an eta so I did not need to wait in for him. He set up his bench outside, removed the doors, shaved them and remounted. This was all done very quickly and neatly with a good tidy up afterwards. A very professional and efficient carpenter.

One of my best decisions this year was to hire Robert to clad what was a previously carpeted staircase that my cats had used as a scratching post. I provided a picture of the end result I was looking for which is ultimately exactly what I received. He provided an honest opinion and realistic price for the work done - real wood cladding with white risers. He was very reliable attended every day and tidied up daily after his work. Nothing was too much trouble and the finish is just great. I will be hiring Robert again for my other carpentry projects.

Robert is the most highly skilled tradesman you could ever find. A very dedicated and professionally trained carpenter who has broadened his portfolio of skills. His work is painstakingly undertaken and perfectly finished to the highest standard. His pricing is highly competitive and fair. He is also a true gentleman, super to collaborate with and so courteous. Wooden floor repaired after water damage. Beech table sanded and restained and waxed after water damage. Front wooden door and threshold sanded and stained I can guarantee you will not find a better carpenter and tradesperson.

Robert did a very professional job of boxing in several areas of new central heating pipes. All woodwork finished to an extremely high standard including painting. I would highly recommend him.

Choosing a tradesperson can always be a bit daunting but Robert has been brilliant. The quality of the work is fantastic and he approaches the job as if it’s his own property making adjustments and advising on other fixes as he went along. He wouldn’t leave a job until he was very happy with it. Workmanship aside Robert also came when he said he would and always left his workspace nice and tidy at the end of everyday. I have already recommended him to my family and will have him back if we ever have any more jobs that need doing.
