  Reliable, professional & considerate

  Matt, from Lift & Shift 1664, quickly responded to my Checkatrade search promising a professional moving service that would fully met our needs. He certainly lived up to this. Moving back to the UK from overseas was complicated but on schedule, Matt and Adam carefully collected our household effects from the shipping company then delivered it to our new house over 400miles away. As well as navigating the logistical challenges of this move, Lift & Shift 1664 were also immeasurably patient and flexible in the face of the 2 recent UK storms. We are delighted with these guys- highly recommend.

  Well recommended and seamless removals!

  Matt and his team were extremely professional on the move day itself. They treating all of our belongings and furniture with a great deal of care and we felt totally trusted in them to make the removals feel effortless and everything safe. They took furniture apart such as the bed and sofas, and put it all back together in the next house. From the initial visit, to the dropping off of packing materials, to leaving the house after moving in, everything was seamless and made what is usual a stressful day, easy! Matt’s communication and patience was excellent! A fantastic company!

  Incredible Service, couldn't recommend more!

  When I reached out to Matt regarding a quote for removals, he responded immediately and managed to fit us in at short notice. He arranged a next day visit for a detailed quote, and was attentive and respectful the entire time, a real pleasure to work with. Come move in day, Matt and Adam arrived on the dot, and immediately started prep work to ensure nothing was damaged during the removals process. They handled everything with the utmost care. Overall, the quality of the service was just amazing, Matt and Adam were incredibly considerate and careful and above all else a delight to be around.

  Cannot recommend highly enough

  From start to finish Matt and Adam were amazing! They were profession, courteous and thorough. We contacted him at fairly short notice but he fitted us in. Came to both houses to assess and gave a quote. Moving day was faultless. They worked tirelessly in the heat to pack and unpack. Nothing was too much trouble. They take pride in what they do. Seeing how they manage to pack everything really is an art form.
