10 Investigation and solution for complex drainage problem

Excellent from start to finish. John took on a problem we have had for over a year and explored all possible causes. The root cause turned out to be a blocked land drain which was challenging to solve but between the initial reviews by John and the perseverance of Chris to unblock and fix the drain under the house the problem was solved. They were able to do the job quickly. They were efficient and pleasant and put right everything that had had to be dug up. Contacted them for a quote for repair work required (broken and aging drains) on a house I was purchasing. I received a prompt and helpful reply (others contacted didn’t bother to reply or get back to me). Very professional firm, from Lucy's call reaching out on same day of advert to Dave visiting early the following morning. I was let down by another firm who promised same day visit on checkatrade, thankfukly Linken Services called. Dave investigated and mentioned it was due to the blocked auxiliary drain used for kitchen waste water, he did a cctv survey upon my request as I needed to be sure issue was not due to a collapsed drain pipe etc and was confirmed it was not. Having discovered a misconnected foul water drain we felt there was an urgency to get this sorted. After leaving a request on Checkatrade, John came out to see us within 2 days, and he spent over an hour checking levels and investigating possible solutions. It wasn’t an easy job. Phil, Chris and Sam turned up on the day and time as agreed and despite torrential rain and thunder storms completed the works quickly and very tidily. We can’t fault the work, communication or attitude of Linken Services.
