Before any work had started

Sanded down treads, risers, spindles & handrail. Apply one coat of primer, sanded again & filled & caules all holes & cracks. Then applied two top coats of white & grey acrylic satin.

Walls were painted using little green & farrow & ball paints, the floor was painted using black friars water based floor paint.

We had to apply a shellac based paint to all the knots on the floor to prevent them from bleeding through the finish coat.
