    Brick / Concrete Structural Repairs

New retaining garden wall and patio.

We had a large retaining garden wall that need to be removed before a new wall could be built, in addition to rebuilding the patio attached to it. Andy and his team were professional, polite and very easy to deal with. They shared what they were doing to check the work was what was required as they went along. Andy's years of experience was clear with the result being both a new wall and rebuilt patio, to a high standard, all completed with no fuss and within a few weeks of the quote. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andy and Love to Build. A 10/10 builder.

Large beam fitted in structural wall

Great work from the love to build team, turned up when they said they would, left the kitchen clean and tidy every day, all rubbish cleared away at the end of the job, the beam looks great, fixed price quote and paid what’s was quoted, really pleased with the finished job, would recommend, great bunch of lads…

    Removing sections of internal wall

I chose Andrew after being recommended. Very knowledgeable and honest. There was something else I thought I needed and he let me know it wasn’t necessary, saving me money. I had an old back boiler that was housed in a brick structure that took up room in my kitchen. I also had a tiny archway between two rooms that I wanted wider for a double door. Involved knocking out bricks and for the door we also added a lintel. All of the team did the work efficiently and tidied up nicely

Wall removal, RSJ Added, Window relocated and lintels

We originally booked Andy in to remove a supporting wall in our 1930s property. This required an RSJ and also needed the back door bricking up. He did such a great job that we asked him to do more once he was working with us! Andy went on to move our current kitchen window and also added lintel above our fireplace. Always helpful and explained things to us in layman’s terms. Would definitely use them again for any future building work!

    Building waste removal

Andy did a fantastic job removing a large pile of fly tipped waste at the back of my house. He was punctual, polite, helpful and did a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Hi my name is Andy,

I started bricklaying at 16 with a 3 year apprenticeship covering all aspects of brickwork and construction. For the next 5 years was mainly house and garage extensions, garden walls, conservatories, repointing and remodelling. After which time I worked on site building houses and on regeneration sites across the Midlands including landscaping to a high design.

In 2005 I moved to Spain building houses, fincas and swimming pools and learnt artisan techniques and different applications. I moved back to the UK and worked for a company doing new builds and old restoration projects and a thermopassive house in the Isle of Skye to an up market restaurant in Neston.

I am married with 3 children, one is my apprentice who works with me. We are punctual, honest and professional and realistic. I take pride in my workmanship and accuracy. My reputation stands by every job and are competitive and understands the customer’s needs.
