  Basement painted with damp seal paint

  Lewis was very responsive and we agreed for the service cost and timeline of two days for £650. I wrongly assumed that 2 days was the needed time to properly complete the job. One day before the scheduled job, Lewis said he would seek two people and they would have been done in one day. They came on time, they were very pleasant and professional. 2 and half hours after they were done. Due to the strong smell, the paint being wet and me having to leave for a week, I left it without checking the job. When I returned a home after one week being away I checked and noticed that the wall was not evenly painted, there were bubbles forming on the wall ( due to the basement being damp) that had been painted over and cracked as I touched them. I texted Lewis and explained that the paint job was not really what I expected and it was patchy leaving some areas of the brick wall almost not painted at all. He came back to me really promptly and did explain thar some areas may have absorbed the paint more then others and did agree to send the guys back to repaint. I chased him but I was unsuccessful in getting the job retouched. It’s a shame I was charged £650 for a a mediocre job.

  Sorry you had this experience, as you say i did offer to come and rectify the job. Unfortunatley on the agreed day a job did run over after some additional last minute work was requested by the customer which we completed that day. As i said, a call or text was all that was needed to re-arrange as it did slip my mind on the day due to been so busy. And just to clarify this "mediocre" job was a full basement we painted in damp proof paint which had extensive damage from years of water ingress and neglect, 1 fist sized area had flaked after painting thats all.

  The guys arrived on time and were very professional, they explained what they would do, covered all the carpets and cleaned up after the work was finished.

  Damp Investigation

  Fixed a leak and replastered the damaged area

  Had an issue with a leak coming into the house that had damaged the plaster, wasn't sure what was causing it or how to fix it. Lewis had a thorough look and found the issue, fixed it all quickly and to a great quality. Will come back again for future work!

  Repair of large scale damage to plaster by damp and electric work.

  Checked the level of damp in the existing plaster to determine how much to replace. Solid work in the kitchen and repair work where an electrician had previously damaged plaster when replacing cables.

  Render patch up

  Had a small hole that needed filling in on our render above our first floor window and was struggling to find someone to do the work for months. These contacted me same day I posted the job and came the same work. They have really matched up the hole with the existing render and we are happy with the job.
