Luke and his team undertook a variety of heavy pruning and tree surgery tasks.
I must say I was very impressed with the speed and tidiness of their work and, with regular consultation, they produced exactly the finish I was looking for. This fact added to their professionalism and their reasonable quote means I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking tree felling or garden tasks and am happy to award a score of 10 in each of the categories.

Clearing away a fallen tree
An old elderberry in the hedgeline had come down. Trunk diameter some 18 inches and far too big for me to tackle with hand tools. It was in a corner where access was difficult and in addition was caught up in another tree so was hanging over a gate and a fence in such a way that if cut in the wrong place the whole weight of the elderberry would fall on them. The two guys did a splendid job. They promised no damage would be done to the either the fance or the gate and they were right. And they cleaned up. It was a pleasure to have two such amiable and competent men on site.
Felling of two very large trees and pollarding another.
Competitive quote. Work carried out skilfully, efficiently and to a very high standard. The team worked very hard even during some awful weather conditions. We were very impressed.
Clearance of overgrown conifers and shrubs
Luke and his crew were highly efficient and attentive to the risk of collateral damage to our house and the trees and plants we wanted to retain. Clearly highly knowledgeable on trees. Very pleasant and tidy work practices. We would unreservedly recommend them.
To take around 20 foot off a conifer and shape
Totally happy with these guys. Professional from the outset - they gave me a time / date for a quote and turned up promptly. Competitive quote and then confirmed a date for the week quickly. They turned up on time to complete the work, were courteous throughout and completed the job professionally checking all along it was to my liking. Fabulous!
