10 Emergency Carpenter Service

Fantastic, thorough and highly professional.
L. York Carpentry saved the day! I had a disability lift installed, and the installation caused problems with the ceiling in that room. After trying and failing to get the ceiling problems sorted with the lift company, I needed someone independent to come in assess what was wrong and be able to carry out remedial work quickly, so the whole project could stay on track. L. York Carpentry were fantastic. The assessment and remedial work was thorough, fast and highly professional. The work was carried out to an excellent standard, highly recommended!Verified reviewerJob location: SG1410 Handmade Kitchens Designed / Installed

building a fridge freezer enclosure
We needed to replace our built-in fridge freezer. Unfortunately are fitted kitchen unit was not large enough and we needed a bespoke matching enclosure built Very happy with the result.Verified reviewerJob location: HP22RChris S9.33 General Carpentry

Great problem solving
Laurie was great at helping us hunt down a matching dado rail (harder than it sounds). He managed to find a close enough fit and fitted it great so you can’t tell the differenceVerified reviewerJob location: AL110 Door Fitting / Hanging

Hanging of internal doors
Laurie hung all of our internal doors (that we had sourced ourselves). Nothing was too much trouble. Due to shipment delays, we needed to reschedule which was accommodated. Additionally Laurie was unhappy with the locks that had been supplied for the bathroom doors, explained why (which we agreed with) and sourced much more suitable replacements (and we returned the originals). Communication was always good. Tidied up at the end of each day.Verified reviewerJob location: AL410 Carpenter
