Made us feel we were in the wrong complaining there was a leak. He did move 3 tiles on the main roof which he thought was causing the roof to leak. Carried out a water test and no water increase was noted but 3 hours later, water was dripping through the roof. Due to the attitude about charging us to revisit, we decided to reseal all the joints in the felt ourself and surprise NO LEAKS.. We have written this off as a bad job and would not have him back. He also melted the soffit. Roof looks patchwork and the fall is towards the house so water pools.

For clarity: one tile above the area was sealed and repositioned into the gutter line as a precaution. A full water test was then carried out with no leaks identified. We were not contacted again to report any further issues or request a return visit. Any discussion regarding charges related only to repeated call-outs if the issue was not linked to the flat roof. The item referred to as a scorched “soffit” was the fascia, which was fully replaced. The customer has since confirmed they carried out their own works using sealant, preventing inspection or rectification.
