Decorating of Kitchen, Hallway, Doors and Stairs
Derek did an absolutely excellent job painting and touching up our home. Very warm and friendly and did a thorough and detailed job. Would most definitely recommend and will be using him again for future work

Painting newly plastered ceilings
We have used Derek previously for painting walls in our house. We asked him to come again on this occasion to paint all the upstairs ceilings. Derek is extremely reliable, punctual, tidy with excellent quality and standard of work. We would use Derek again and highly recommend him.

Room repainting
We've used Derek at Magenta numerous times over the years and he's always our 'go to' man for any painting and decorating we have. He always does a great job for us and always with a smile on his face. We've also always been able to completely trust Derek in our home and have no qualms about 'leaving him to it'.

A perfectly perfectional job. Kitchen, living room including ceilings and woodwork .
Two years ago I had arranged a decorator to paint the kitchen after it was newly installed. However because of unforeseen circumstances he had to cancel.I found someone on short notice,who did a terribly job.Then I found Derek, because my mother had seen him working at a house over the road of a very fussy owner and had seen him come back at other times.Giving me his number off his van I contacted him,and I'm so glad I waited for Derek of magenta decorating because he had great reviews and he's lived up to them also in our home.Restoring my confidence in trades men.Pleasant fellow,great job ??

Full Internal Decoration of cottage
We have been using Derek for many years for internal and external decorating of our character cottage. Superb attention to detail, totally trustworthy and great advice about colours etc. Derek is extremely professional, courteous and leaves everywhere very tidy at the end of the day. Clearly very experienced and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Painting a hallway and stairs
Derek is a fantastic painter and decorator, he did a great job painting our walls and ceilings on the stairs and hallway. He also made good the walls and treated the woodwork. All work was completed to a high standard, the area looked brand new after he finished. Derek was friendly and professional, he has a strong attention to detail and takes pride in his work and not to make a mess. I would definitely recommend him to others and I would certainly use him again.
