Great People to Deal With
I chose Mahonia to decorate rooms in my 90 year old mum's house. I had seen their work previously through my association with a 30 bedroom hostel in Leeds that Mahonia had recently decorated throughout. From the very outset Hamzeh was a pleasure to deal with providing a very competitive quote for the required work. When they came to do the job Mahonia Decorators completed the work to a very high standard ensuring that all surfaces were thoroughly prepared before any paint was applied. Damage made good

Bedroom paint
The guys were fantastic. They came at 8:30am and didn’t leave till 7pm on a 30°c day and didn’t complain once. They meticulously filled my lumpy walls, painted the ceiling, skirting, windowsill, door and walls and it looks absolutely perfect. The walls were an awful bright blue before and they’ve covered all trace with a pale colour. They were free within 5 days of querying and it looks so so good. Effective and efficient repaint
Mahonia did a great job repainting a couple of rooms in my house. There were a few awkward jobs such as a flaky old bathroom ceiling, and they handled everything and it all looks good as new. Hi, I’m Hamzeh, the founder of Mahonia Decor.
I’ve been working in the painting and decorating trade for over 15 years.
I usually work independently, but I also collaborate with a reliable network of tradespeople when needed for larger projects.
I hold a Level 2 Diploma in Painting and Decorating from Building College, a Specialist Certificate in Interior Design and Decoration from OBU, and I’m fully certified with CITB and a Professional CSCS card, ensuring safety, compliance, and industry-standard work.
What I enjoy most about my job is seeing the transformation in a home — using colour, creativity, and care to bring a space to life.
