  Impressed with initial consultation, but not the job - to remove a leaking stoptap from under my patio and re-route a new main into the house. The spec included ‘installation of 2m water pipe’ and ‘making good of patio area’. In the event, the plumber I employed separately ended up fitting the pipe. Also I had to replace two patio slabs myself. When I requested a small deduction (£92) to cover my extra costs, I received a call telling me the job had been done to spec. They were well rewarded for less than two days’ work and I should have had better service.

  MAK carried out a difficult job very confidently with a no-hassle approach, nothing was a problem and any issues that came up they had already thought of a solution to. All the workers were polite and courteous, and they kept all areas tidy and neat. They also went out of their way to keep in contact with our neighbours as access was tricky to our property and required using their driveway. Very impressed with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

  Communicated beforehand and arrived when they said they would. Worked all day in the pouring rain, but kept the garden, path and patio tidy and cleaned down afterwards. All materials were poured onto boards/sheets to stop the mess.

  Mike and his team's service is phenomenal. They were extremely courteous and considerate, highly self-organising, and amazingly efficient. Access to our site was hampered, but they are natural problem solvers. After a swift inspection they made the whole operation look easy, and were happy to discuss and resolve all our needs. The whole team was warm and friendly, and their confident approach was very reassuring. A great experience. Would wholeheartedly recommend MAK Groundworks!
