  Came via a recommendation from a friend who had work done by the Mallwood Roofing team. Didnt wait long for the initial assessment of the work needed and recommended exactly what our surveyor had said needed to be done when we purchased house. Was kept informed of any delays due to weather, but on the day, three of the team arrived to strip the old covering off; remove skylight to seal correctly, reinstate and left site clean and completed in one day. Worked non-stop. Would highly recommend.

• Install cavity trays in replacement of existing lead flashing

  Existing lead flashing on gable end of house adjoining flat roof garage in poor condition, and leaks evident during heavy rain. Removed brickwork and installed new lead to form a cavity catchment tray and flashing and reinstated brickwork. Excellent job done on trying weather conditions, site left tidy at completion.

  As per phone call. The works were started in May: the tiles were removed leaving felt and battens exposed over weekend of 14/15 May when there were 2 nights of heavy rain. No roofer was available for emergency repair/tarp and water cascaded in causig damage. When roof was completed it leaked and caused further water damage and further roof repair had to be done. The firm has refused to contact their insurers and sent a roofer with a paint pot to paint over the damage to ceiling: on seeing the damage he stated 'I can't do that, I'm a roofer not a painter and it will look just as bad".
