  James isn’t just a bathroom and kitchen fitter; he’s a true craftsman. His attention to detail and precision is truly stunning. As a bit of a perfectionist myself (my wife has other words!) I wanted to find someone who would install our high-end bathroom with the utmost of care and perfect execution. In James! not only did I find this person, he consistently went above and beyond to deliver a masterpiece. Notwithstanding the quality of his work, he’s also a genuinely nice chap to have around. My only regret is that I can’t think of another project to get him back for at the moment!

• Remove kitchen worktops and tiles

  James gave good advice on the options for replacement of our kitchen worktops and wall tiles. He removed the worktops and tiles so that new quartz worktops and wall panels could be installed. Also plumbed in the new sink. Protected the area and cleaned up really well. Provided an extremely friendly and professional service and worked well with the quartz supplier/installer. I would highly recommend M&J Fitters.

  We have just had our bathroom fitted by James and would highly recommend his workmanship. He has done a fantastic job and we are very pleased with his attention to detail. • Replacement of an en-suite; main bathroom and fitting of a new Wickes kitchen including appliances.

  Clearance of existing bathrooms and kitchen was executed timely and tidily. We were guided through the selection of bathroom furniture, showers and tiles which were fitted with precision. The Wickes designed kitchen was installed as per the plans and commissioned in conjunction with an electrician who is rated separately. Our “fitter” was punctual, professional, and personable throughout the seven weeks of work. Always clearing up each day he was sympathetic to our needs and priorities probably due to his experience. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

  Performed a complete installation of a new en-suite bathroom. Kept within budget and agreed timeframe. This was the first phase of a three phase project which includes the main bathroom and kitchen. Very professional and friendly.

• Bathroom retiling and bath replacement

  James was friendly and reliable throughout, right from starting when he said he would 2 months earlier. There were some unexpected difficulties during the job (no fault of his) which meant that we had to change the plan after he had gotten started. He was un-phased by this and adapted with no issues. He was also very tidy and cleaned up after himself. Very pleased with the end result. I would definitely recommend.
