Repointing of ridge tiles

Slate roof repair and lead flashing coated.
John seemed like a nice and friendly person. He was not able to find out where the leak was coming from, but did suggest coating the lead flashing as it was cracked. He did agree to replace three slates on the bathroom roof and put some cement on the ridge tiles as well. All this for £500! However, after he left I noticed that a slate was still missing and so contacted him to arrange a return (no immediate rush) on the 23/01/2024. No further contract from him after this date. Leaking ridge tiles on roof
Noticed water leaking through the roof in the loft space so phoned on Monday and John came out Monday morning and inspected the roof ridge tiles and noted some movement in the ridge tiles. Extremely impressed John attended the same morning as phoned, was very polite, explained what he would do to remedy the leak and came and fixed 2 days later. Work done was very good, left the property clean and tidy. Showed me photos of the work done before leaving. Roof repair
John visited to view the job very promptly and agreed to undertake the work within a few days. He then returned with his team on the agreed day and did the work very professionally, very tidily and I have had no problems with the roof since.Verified reviewerJob location: NG18
