Matt was very thorough and proactive in tackling several issues such as doorbell transformer, kitchen extractor, heat detector and sorting cables as well as completing the certificate. His invoice was very reasonable compared with other electricians I have used. I am very impressed with his work and would be very happy to employ him again.

Matt came straight away to make us safe with ouconsumer unit which was burning a hole in the plastic. He was very helpful and informative, friendly and polite and made everything safe for us.

I called Matt as the electric kept on tripping and eventually the main switch wouldn't even stay on at all , Matt was punctual, he had a look at the problem and then told us the problem, he said how much it would cost with the call out included, I must say very reasonable price, he's very polite, and cleans any mess afterwards, I would definitely recommend Matt Allan Electrics ! Contacted Matt to ask if could help resolve 2 electrical problems. A plug was "stuck" in the wall socket and we were unable to pull it out. Also, the ceiling pull switch for the extractor fan in our bathroom was starting to work intermittently. Matt requested photos, gave a rough estimate for the replacement parts and labour, and arranged a time to visit to complete the work. He attended when he said he would, completed the work efficiently, and was professional and courteous throughout. The invoice was as suggested. Very pleased. Would definitely use again.

I called Matt when my complicated and long-established power set-up in the garden all suddenly went dead. It was a mystery. Matt was ready for the challenge and did a lot of tests with equipment that probably didn't even exist when I was a young man and did the installation. He worked patiently, explaining everything he was doing, and all was well after about three hours. As a bonus, he left me with some good advice to avoid a repetition. I was very impressed by his professionalism and his pleasant manner, and I can recommend him wholeheartedly.
