I'm a hardworking professional who relishes in providing a first class service to my customers. I've been a bricklayer for over 20 years and been in the building trade for 22 years. At Matt C-W Brickwork we do extensions, new builds, garden walls, repointing, chimney rebuilds, wall tie replacements and lintel replacements. We pride ourselves in the knowledge that we will provide an honest and competitive rate to our customers whilst working with them to develop their dreams within a range of budgets. We are new to Checkatrade and would love the chance to show people our quality work and get some positive feedback.

Laying a new patio.
I would not hesitate to recommend Matt and George to carry out any patio or bricklaying jobs. They are both extremely hard working and Matt takes great pride in making sure the job is carried out to the highest standard. He is very knowledgeable about what needs to be done.
Repointing, lintel replacement and new dpc
This is the second time I have used Matt cw brickwork and I cannot fault them at all. They give an honest quote, great communication and left the job comepletely clean and tidy. Very pleased with the work carried out and I will 100% use again when I need any futures works doing.
Repair to gate post at front of property and also remedial work to garden wall.
Matt responded to my initial enquiry quickly and gave a competitive quote for the work. He gave a realistic lead time but was actually able to start the work sooner, after approximately 3 weeks. Communication was good and he was thorough, on time and completed the job (ably assisted by George!) to a high standard. Matt went out of his way to make sure the job was done properly, and left everything clean and tidy. He was also very friendly and polite. I can thoroughly recommend Matt and wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.
Garage rebuilt to spec’d plate height
Garage walls rebuilt to specified plate height. Matt and George have been brilliant in completing the walls for my double garage project. Everything went as planned and on time, all materials were delivered on site before they started and will definitely have them back for more work later in the year. 10 out of 10 for all the work and knowledge.
Demolish front wall and footings replace with straight footings and a decorative wall.
Very hard working, polite, explained stages of work and discussed any issues and kept updated as work went along. Tidy and cleared up well on completion of work. Highly recommend workmanship and would certainly use again.
Brick wall with pillars and fence panel’s
Matt did a fantastic job always on time very clean and tidy could not fault his expertise and professionalism his workmanship was 100% very very pleased and great price already booked Matt in the new year for more work
