  Internal redecoration

  Maurice completed the work to an extremely high standard. He initially advised on best paint types for the end result that I was looking for. During the work, he was extremely careful and tidy and completed the work within the agreed timescale and quote.

  2 bedroom flat and flood damage repair

  So lucky to have found this excellent decorator. My mother is 90 and Maurice the decorator was so friendly, tidy and completed such a super job of the whole flat. Nothing was too much trouble and he was so helpful , there was no stress or worry involved for her. The quality of his work was excellent . Thank you Maurice.

  Redecroate medium size room Redecoration of window frames and doors not required.

  Cutting in inaccurate. Skirting boards streaky and gritty. Painting behind pipes not completed. Window ledge needed stripping and repainting due to several small circular defects which developed as the [paint dries. Areas of radiator unpainted. Door frames nor painted down to correct level. Decorator arrived on time but left around 1530 on both days. He charged £ 400.00 which would have been fair had the work been of an acceptable standard. He offered to put it right but I refused as I had lost faith in him.

  I am sorry to have received a negative feed back, I work hard to make customers happy as my previous feed backs show. When the job was completed I asked the customer if they were happy with everything, the reply was looking good. They paid very promptly, Approximately four weeks later I was surprised to receive a call from the customer who said they were not happy with the job , I then said I would put any problems right. They said they had put it right themselves and had sent a feed back to checkatrade.. I am shocked and dismayed at the feedback, I have been a decorator for over Fifty years and worked for some very influential customers who have become regular customers over the years.

  Wallpapered a bedroom

  Maurice came at very short notice and wallpapered my parent's bedroom as a surprise whilst they were on holiday. Despite it being a tricky room and a heavily patterned wallpaper he did a superb job. My dad, who is very, very fussy was delighted on his return. Maurice even touched up some paintwork so that the room looked its best for my parents. Would recommend Maurice without hesitation. I found his fee to be fair.
