  Micheal was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. When he realised he could help clarify the job over the phone, he did so in order to save me an unnecessary callout fee, with no obligation to hire him for the job. As a result of this I did hire him and the work was completed quickly and with no fuss.

  I described the job as urgent on Checkatrade and a few electricians did message very quickly with quotes for a straight swap but none were available for 2 wks and didn't ask for any details. Michael from Maxim Electrical called me and asked me to explain the problem and said he would come the next day. His communication was excellent and he kept me informed each step about what he would check and replace. Michael and his lads were friendly, punctual and informative about what had gone wrong and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him or using him again for my electrical works in the future. Ace!

• Fault finding and re-in statement of power to our heating/hot water system

  Mike contacted me very quickly on the evening I posted the job and offered advice before even taking on the works. He came out first thing on the next day (Saturday morning) and did fault finding and found the problem very quickly. He worked out a solution and carried out the work, getting us back up and running in no time at all. He was really helpful and efficient and very professional. I would recommend him to others in need of a quick and effective response.
