Hi I’m Mat, MBS Electrical
I'm a trained and qualified electrician I was self-employed.
Since then I have worked for 2 of the UK's Largest commercial appliance repair companies where I have held and still hold the position of senior engineer.
I am now slowly starting my company back up on a small part-time basis where I am for now dedicating myself to appliance repair and small non notifiable electrical work.
I quote for free and don’t generally charge a call out charge.
Most appliance repairs are carried out within half an hour and I can get most parts within a day or 2.

Clear blocked washing machine
Very good, prompt and very efficient. Highly recommend
DISAPPEARED
Two year old dishwasher just stopped working! Matt diagnosed fault without moving the dishwasher. He said it needed a new heating element and he would have to order the part. Nothing heard from him so I tried to make contact. Phoned and left messages, sent texts but no reply at all. Had to start again and find another company. They came and pulled the dishwasher out to check what the problem was. Discovered there was nothing at all wrong with the appliance, it had been incorrectly installed from new by AO. Electrician has now sorted the wiring and the dishwasher is working no problem.

Matt was really informative and very honest with the issue of my washing machine, he could of come out and fixed the problem for £250, however he was very honest and said that there maybe further damage so he wouldn’t want me to waste my money fixing! He also gave me lots of advice for my new washing machine thank you Matt!
Fitted Circotherm element to Neff oven
Came out the same day as I had the part. Saved waiting all over Easter with no oven. Nice guy. Great job at a reasonable rate. Would certainly use again. Highly recommended
Didn’t turn up
Didn’t turn up on the day he said he would, I tried contacting him a few times throughout the day to see when he would be coming and he just didn’t reply.
Didn't even turn up!
I took the day off to have my cooker hood repaired, that had an electrical fault. Matt Sharp agreed to come out for 4pm. He asked for the address. He never showed up and has not returned my calls or messages since, leaving me a days pay out of pocket.
