Initially he was prompt and polite although not tidy and power sockets were not installed with care and the finish was terrible leaving them lose and with holes around them. When he came to actually finish off the final job of installing last power socket in the newly plaster boarded porch he made a big hole fitting it and didn’t even have the decency to try and repair it or apologise and stated it was a hazard of the job but demanded he was paid the same fee. I asked that he redeem himself by putting up my blinds and he further damaged the walls and I had to ask him to leave my house I was so upset

Thank you for the feedback. The customer was quote £290 for various jobs such as replacing light fittings and switches. When I arrived, the entrance had not yet been boarded, wall or ceiling. She had not bought the light fittings and had not bought the metal sockets to replace the white plastic as agreed. I could only do the light under the stairs. This meant I had to make a return trip which I had not priced for. She then asked me later by message if I could supply the switches and sockets. I had to then go back 2 more times as she wanted more things done and when I returned on the last visit I accidentally damaged the wall. Bringing me back 3 times to do a job I under-priced for a couple of hours in one trip. While I was there on the third trip She asked me to replace two of the lights upstairs, I did this free of charge. I tried my best to be fair and accommodating, going out of my way as I do for all my customers. I wish the customer all the best.
