  Rendering front of property

  I am very happy with the work carried out by McKenna Plastering Services. Paul & Gary carried out the work in the agreed time scale, they were professional & courteous throughout the job, which came in at a good price. I will definitely recommend McKenna Plastering Services to friends & family.

  Reliable, trustworthy, caring and outstanding finish

  Paul stripped off and removed old wood chip paper throughout my hallway and staircase which was hiding a multitude of issues including damp and cracks from movement - he used a substance that ensures the cracks will not come though and the plastering had a glass like finish to it. He then suggested that I ensure it all dries out before painting to ensure the best finish. Great work and he cared - very pleased and will use again on my next project.

  Plastering of entire house + external render

  I’ve done an entire house renovation and Paul has been the best of all the tradesmen I’ve used. When hiring people to do work you want a few things… good quality of work, trustworthiness, attention to detail and reliability. Paul & Gary have all of these things in abundance and on top of that, they’re friendly, courteous and very tidy… which is hard to find. They went above and beyond throughout my project. I’d recommend Paul in a heartbeat.

  Bedroom plastering

  Never showed up - the Friday before the job started he said he had to delay a few days and then four days later cancelled altogether. Wouldn’t pick up the phone at all when called during the week and sent 5 emails which got ignored. Incredibly frustrating experience as had trades people lined up for the week after this job which have now all had to be put back.

  Flat Ceilings

  Replace bathroom ceiling

  Upon contacting Paul he attended site and quoted for the job - ceiling being part lath/plaster/plasterboard required replacing with plasterboard/skimming. He placed a temporary prop to hold up the ceiling as it was fit to drop. A date was set and he and his team attended on site on time and completed the job in a day. Neat work, tidied as they progressed.

  Replastering of an internal wall

  Great quality workmanship, all works carried out quickly and the space was left clean and tidy afterwards. Exactly what we asked for. Will be using again
