  Bathroom fitting and plastering

  Hired to correct plastering in a small cloakroom and install a new suite. Initially, the contractor was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the finished work was not satisfactory. Issues included poor paintwork, poorly cut flooring, an incorrectly fitted mixer tap (hot and cold reversed), and a toilet that began overflowing within a day. We requested a refund and agreed to an inspection. We provided two separate opportunities for the contractor to view the work, but he did not attend either appointment or notify us. We are now over £1,000 out of pocket and the room requires remedial work.

  They managed to get us a next-day appt after the request was raised which was good. Unfortunately we waited in all day and they couldn't make it after getting caught up on another job but we didn't get a call to say they wouldn't be able to get to us. But they did arrange for us to be the last job of the day the next day. They were here less than 20 minutes and all done. Lovely chaps.

  Hello, Lian I’m sorry you was not satisfied with our service, unfortunately that day we had a last minute emergency for a lady that had a flood, her house was ankle deep in water and her children were scared, as much as we try and remain professional we also have a heart and in circumstances like this as a father i did what I feel right, I’m sorry that we was not able to commit to the time we agreed and the demand in the job mean we could break free to make the call to you, i am glad however that the work we did do was satisfactory, thank you for your review and I bid you a good day :)

  Plastering work

  I used Checkatrade to find a local builder that was able to remove a built in wardrobe and plaster the wall. The 2 guys that came were very professional, well mannered and cleaned up well after themselves. They also managed to fit me in with little notice. Looking to get further work done by this coming in the coming months!
