Disrupting residential areas
Despite the fact that noisy working hours restricted on a Sunday, a team of three turned up and started working at 7:30 a.M. With a loud radio playing. At 8:15 I asked them if they thought it was acceptable given the fact that I had just spent 2 hours trying to get a baby to sleep and they had woken them and my 3 year old up 10 minutes after I got them to sleep. They're excuse was that they had bills to pay and they liked listening to music while they work. Scaffolding outside house
Workmen very polite, friendly and exceptionally helpful (did extra by securing roof tiles which was more than their brief!). Worked quietly and quickly and did a fine job. Erected scaffold for roofing works
Tom and Bill arrived on time, discussed the works, had read the specification and viewed site before started works to check our access needs and any issues to be considered. They responded to my comments about the need for vehicular and skip access and modified installation to maintain access to hard standing area for storage. Polite, friendly and helpful. Sent me a text as promised when finished so I could photograph works for third party. Cleaned site before leaving. Did not damage any structures, surfaces or plants whilst installing scaffold.
