Garage Conversion and small front extension
Mike and his team did a fantastic job on our garage conversion, we're really happy with it. Having heard about how stressful construction works can be at home, we were initially apprehensive but Mike and team were a pleasure to work with and most importantly were entirely trustworthy. No unforeseen additional costs at the end of the job. I didn't provide them with detailed drawings but this wasn't an issue for them. We discussed design as they went and the finished product looks great and all in accordance with building regs.
Complete renovation of house
Excellent Builder After extensive search ,l found Mike Powell on Checkatrade to renovate my property which was in dire state. He turned it into a brand new house. As Mike has an excellent team of carpenters,plumbers,electricians and all trade experts it was very helpful to have a one stop all high quality Builder to do the entire project. It saves all the hassle of finding quality trade experts. His quote was reasonable and the quality of his work excellent. He is very pleasant to work with, very honest , completed the job on time, tidied up, making the house ready to move in. Highly recommend
Downstairs toilet
Mike was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Very helpful, charming and efficient and created a wonderful downstairs toilet in a very tiny space. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.
Full redevelopment of Victorian one bedroom flat
Mike and his team did a terrific job for us, completely redeveloping a Victorian flat; new kitchen, new bathroom, rewiring, re-plumbing, new units, full redecoration. He was an excellent communicator and always went the extra mile to solve any issues that emerged. He was also extremely thoughtful towards the neighbours and built good relationships with them. He was reliab;e and conscientious and a very good time-keeper, as were all the team. There were none of the usual delays you normally get with a build. We were thrilled with the result and can thoroughly recomment Mike and his team.
New windows and repainted kitchen and bedrooms
As ever Mike and his team provided first class workmanship and excellent communication throughout the work. The windows were measured and accordingly 4 weeks later they arrived and were fitted over a 2 day period. After the windows were fitted (and they are excellent in quality and in installment); the painter arrived to paint large kitchen and utility room and 2 bedrooms. This took a week to do and the standard of work is fabulous. The finish has made my kitchen and bedrooms feel like brand new. Very polite people, incredibly tidy and clean - First class work
Total Refit of dated Bungalow
Outstanding, quality work on a 1960's dated bungalow. All walls and ceilings had to be re-plastered,doors moved to accommodate modern kitchen, walls moved to make space for bath and wet room. From the initial time Mike came round to quote for the job to the day Mike's team finished I experienced nothing but courtesy, professionalism, cleanliness, tidiness, and excellent work. The team are all 100% trustworthy and arrive on time and work hard. Very impressed and would highly recommend.
