  Carpentry and Electrical work

  I have used Mike and Nick in the past and was completely satisfied and knew that I could trust them and that the jobs would be completed satisfactorily. I had an issue with some of my bungalow doors and Nick understood exactly what the issue was and sort it out quickly and efficiently. I also asked Nick to replace an outside light for me and again he sourced that quickly and fitted it. I would thoroughly recommend M D Powell for any building works you need.

  Single Storey Rear Extension

  Mike and Nick have been excellent to work with and I would highly recommend them. The project looks great and they were always flexible with little changes along the process. The contractors they used for some elements of the job also completed the work to an excellent standard. I would definitely use them again for any future projects.

  Re roofing a kitchen extension

  Recently our kitchen roof started leaking. Having just had some work done by Mike and his team, we had no hesitation in calling him. The roofing team he brought in were excellent – professional, polite and efficient. After going through our options, we agreed the approach, and we’re very happy with the results.

  Loft Floor and First Floor Refurbishment

  We found M D Powell on Checkatrade. Mike and is team carried out a complete refurbishment of our loft floor and a first-floor bedroom. They partitioned the loft area, installed a new shower room, refurbished a first-floor bedroom with built in wardrobe and storage area and installed new flooring covering the whole of the first floor with painting and decorating throughout. Mike, Nick and the team of plumbers, electricians, painters, carpenters, and plasterers were courteous, professional and kept disruption to a minimum. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Wooden side gate to be removed and replaced

  Mike arranged for my wooden side gate to be removed and replaced. Both Mike and his Carpenter tradesman arrive when arranged and were polite and courteous. An excellent job and everything was left clean and tidy. I would definitively recommend this Company

  Refurbishment

  We were looking for a builder to do a complete refurbishment of our property and found M D Powell Builders on checkatrade. Mike and his team were very helpful and always polite. They always left the property clean and tidy and the work is of a very high standard! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.
