  Highly recommended

  Jay came on board to supply new electrics to our kitchen/ diner extension with all new appliance power, sockets, undercabinet lighting, spotlights, additional smoke detectors throughout the house and outside lighting. Jay had a clear understanding of our vision, made great recommendations and worked with care and professionalism throughout. Jay had a new apprentice working with him and with his clear and caring instructions and teaching, surely Thomas will become an excellent electrician and addition to the MEC team. Thank you.

  LED Lighting

  New bedroom lights

  When I decided to upgrade my bedroom I needed a new light fitting. My friend highly recommended Jay. He showed up at the arranged time and had some wonderful ideas based on his experience. He suggested having wall lights either side of the bed with their own switches and also the idea to switch the main light from there too! He also showed me some samples of decorative sockets and switches to suit our colour scheme. He completed the work in one day and never seemed like anything was a problem. A very friendly and trustworthy young man! Will definitely be using MEC Peterborough again!!

  Electric Sockets

  bedroom sockets

  We needed a few extra sockets in our bedroom as we only had one behind our bed and had 2 extension leads. Jay showed up and talked to us about our options. He immediately put us at ease with his friendly nature and talked us through his process. He recommended a double socket either side of the bed with USB points which we didn't know we could have. We agreed with his cost and a date and the job couldn't have gone smoother. We were also very impressed that he managed to complete the job without causing any damage to the area! Very genuine tradesman. Highly recommend!
