  • Replacement of heating element in dishwasher.

    Dishwasher began to run cold, contacted Medway Appliance Repairs, Jason attended the next day and identified the issue as the heating element which he promptly ordered and returned to replace a few days when it arrived. No issues, now fully working again, would use again if required.

    Unfortunately I am very dissatisfied with this business. The gentleman came out to me to look at my dishwasher, I paid the call out fee of £60 and he told me if there was any more trouble to call him out again. He said that the call out fee would cover me for 3 months. The same issue happened with my appliance the very next day so I asked him to come again. Unfortunately- My emails were ignored. My messages were ignored. So I called him and he said he would come the next day. Then he did not turn up after I waited in. Would not recommend.

    First job, look at serial number. He then informs me DW old and unlikely to get spares. I had removed side covers. I was unsure how to remove bottom of d/w to identify leak. He asked a couple of questions. “Oh must be the heating coil”. I stated water gets hot. No attempt to remove clipped base ( 30 secs) . No further action by him at a cost of £60 call out fee for no work, NO investigation. If he had taken base off, could see discharge pp O ring seal failed. I repaired for £6 ( espares web) Not happy at all. His website is very misleading and should not be believed

We service and repair most makes and models of kitchen appliances and try to give a first time fix, where possible, if parts are not available we will schedule a return visit to complete the repair of the appliance. 

A one off payment will be charged for the call out fee. If you require any additional service on any other appliance there maybe a extra charge for this. Covers labour and a return visit, should it be required, to fit any parts and resolve any issues with the job. A 6 month warranty is also provided, to cover the same issue, if a new fault arises within that time frame, there may be an additional charge.
