  Excellent workmanship

  Phil has done an excellent job for us when installing a new stair rail and spindles as well as replacing a windo cill. He is very professional and pleasant. Also did an excellent job of cleaning up after him each day he was here. His work is exceptional

  Superb

  Phil is probably the single best tradesman I have ever used. He is brilliant. A very nice guy and an absolute perfectionist who is very respectful of your property. Very tidy and we are massively impressed by the standard of his work. Would 100% recommend him and we will use him again for some future work we would like to have done.

  Excellent workmanship and reliability

  The job was to change 2 doors one to a sliding door and another to change the opening direction. Phil was prompt to reply and come out to look at the job. Gave us some options and advice and quote. Reliable and communicated with us exactly what the job would entail. The job was completed as planned and to a very high standard. Phil was meticulous and tidy. Very pleased with the completed job. Would certainly use Melrose again and recommend to anyone.

  Phill from Melrose laid flooring in our oddly shaped hallway. He did a fantastic professional job. Phill was friendly, and advised us the best way for the floor to be laid. It looks great and would certainly recommend Phill and Melrose Joinery for future work.

  Excellent service and value for money.

  Phil was really friendly, professional and extremely tidy. The work was completed to an excellent standard and would definitely recommend and use him again. Phil previously did some work for us 10 years ago. He remembered us and pleased we had contacted him again.

  Excellent workmanship

  Great service: Phil built under stairs storage and also a cupboard in a separate alcove. We are most impressed with the quality of his work. He was reliable, punctual, meticulous in how the work was completed and took care in tidying up afterwards.
