  Excellent Carpentry Work

  Marc designed, created and fitted shelf and cupboard units either side of the fireplace in our lounge when we moved into and renovated our bungalow last month. His carpentry and finish were of an exceptionally high standard and he even created/plastered 2 stud walls within his design in order to give us the deeper shelves and cupoards that we wanted. We are so pleased with these units and they create an amazing feature in the lounge. We highly recommend Marc - he went above and beyond in order to get the job completed within the time quoted and was very reasonably priced too. Great job done.

  Great attention to detail

  Always challenging to find good craftspeople, especially those willing to take on work in North Laine. I took a chance based on some of the reviews and reached out to Marc to see if he would quote for all new skirtings, architraves and door linings, as well as a bespoke unit for my bedroom. Marc came out as promised, provided a clear quote and explained exactly what he would do. He had to deal with some particularly difficult walls and awkward levels in a very old house, but the finished wardrobe/storage unit is brilliant.   High quality work – highly recommend.

  I cannot recommend Marc highly enough. From the initial quote through to completion his communication and attention to detail has been excellent. The quality of his work is outstanding and he is very organised, clean and tidy. He took time to explain the various options (bath panelling and some other carpentry jobs) and had some great suggestions for the work that he carried out. I will definitely be using him again..

  HIGHLY SKILLED CRAFTSMAN

  We searched for months to find a Carpenter who fitted the bill for our refurbishment project , at times we felt that we'd never find a true professional that was eager to make a substantial contribution and help us achieve what we had planned. We came across Marc in May 2026 and contacted him via text. Marc responded within the hour and arranged to come and see us the next day. Our initial meeting with Marc was an absolute revelation !!!. Marc understood exactly what we were trying to achieve from the outset. Would have no hesitation in recommending MEP Carpentry.
