    £85 Call-Out and an Unnecessary Lock Replacement Recommendation

    Very disappointed. I lost the only key to my garage and was charged £85 for this company to open it. I was then told the lock had to be replaced and quoted a further £170 (later reduced to £140). A month later, another locksmith removed the same lock, cut three new keys, reinstalled it, and charged £130 for the entire job. The lock never needed replacing. So I paid £85 for a visit that didn't solve the problem. Had I followed their advice, I would have spent over £225 unnecessarily. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this company.

    Whilst I appreciate all feedback, I feel this review does not accurately reflect the work carried out. The customer contacted me to gain entry to a locked garage and retrieve items inside. I quoted £85 for this service before attending, and this was agreed. The garage was successfully opened without damage and access gained as requested. As I do not provide key-cutting services where no original key is available, I offered an optional quote for a replacement lock. The £85 charge was for the agreed entry service only, which was completed.

    A very quick response Liam clearly explained everything and what the work would cost He then went and did everything and although he encountered some tricky things (it is a very old house) he dealt with it all very well. I would highly recommend Liam and Meredith Locksmiths.

    New Communal lock to block of flats

    Excellent service , received call & quote with 10 minutes of making request. Liam was on site fitting new lock within 2 hours. Residents of the block very happy the building is secure again and all provided with keys. Great job & highly recommend.
