  New boiler, and boiler servicing

  Alan is an excellent plumber, and has always offered a highly professional service, with very fair pricing. I don’t hesitate to recommend him. He’s been my go-to plumber since 2018 when he fitted our boiler and did such a neat job (see photo). I really appreciated his attention to detail, and the time he took to patiently explain to me exactly how it all worked. He’s been back regularly to service the boiler and most recently he came to check out an issue with my Dad‘s boiler. He’s always reliable, and straightforward, he’ll tell you how it is no better no worse. 100% recommend!

  Install all plumbing and fixtures for new disabled bathroom

  Merrills were recommended by a friend. They came and survey the job and gave us a quotation with full breakdown and explanation of what extras might be required or involved depending on site conditions and gave a firm time for completion. We accepted the quotation, and they turned up on the appointed day. Despite manufacturers sending items with parts missing, they sourced everything required, and finished the job two days early and within budget Merrills then called us a week later to make sure we were completely satisfied with the job .

  I have used Merrills Heating and Plumbing for years. Alan fitted and maintained a new boiler, has carried out lots of different plumbing work and fitted new shower screens and sink drainers. He is punctual, reasonably priced and a really nice guy. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Alan has done various plumbing jobs for us over the years from fitting new bathrooms to fixing leaks and always does a great job for a good price. Very reliable and friendly!
