Repair hessian and re lacquer old wooden chair
Miguel was very prompt and clear in responding to my request and then follow up questions and then the pick up process to get the chair and return it, was straightforward. An excellent tradesman on flooring
Miguel came to provide a quote. He actually visited my home rather than just provide a quote by sending pictures over the phone. He spent time with me discussing possibilities on how to move forward and explaining everything in detail. Miguel is very generous with his time and advice - for that I am deeply grateful. He is also very experienced and knowledgeable on a range of subjects. Very impressed - broken ercol table
Contacted Miguel after I broke my Ercol table, he was quick to respond and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Super knowledgable, came round quick as he could and sorted the problem in no time. Repair to dent/damage of Ercol table
Had a brilliant experience after damaging my lovely Ercol table. Quick response and attended the next day, on time. Really clear about work that needed to be done and gave a very fair price. Worked on the table straight away. Work done to an excellent standard - the table looks great. Gave me some advice and recommendations for wood care. Really recommend! Excellent repairs swiftly done
Miguel rang me an hour after I put a request on Checkatrade and came round the next morning, He picked up my Victorian armchair and the broken leg/ castor was reattached. Since then he has fixed dining chairs, a rickety drinks table and even a wooden animal's broken feet. Amazing work from very kind and talented person and the repaired items personally returned. Our Furniture Restoration service, include all aspects of Wooden Furniture, Block Colour, Leather and Fabric.
Our French Polishing service covers all aspects of Hand Finishing, Machine Finishing and Spraying, Clear Polish, High Gloss Finishes as well as Block Colours.

French Polishing is a wood finishing technique which is used to protect and bring out the natural beauty of the wood. The material used for French polishing is called Shellac, the process for French Polishing is very lengthy and repetitive, and would require the French Polisher to do this by hand, by pouring the French polish into a fad and thinned out with methylated spirits and boiled linseed oil to apply layer by layer, to mainly Post War and Antique Period Furniture and applied to many different types of Hardwoods such as Mahogany, Walnut or Oak.
Our London based French Polishers offer a high quality French Polishing and furniture Restoration and Conservation service, Royal Historic Palaces, Historic Houses, Historic Buildings, Museums, Institutions and Schools, .
We pride ourselves on our years of experience, and depth of knowledge on projects such as Conservation of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings in the UK.
Our dedicated Restorers can complete all projects onetime by sourcing all our Wood Finishing Materials, where we can from Natural Resource and reputable suppliers on budget- relieving all customers of panic and leaving the hard work and stress to us, to full fill all of our customers' Restoration Project requirements, Domestic or Commercial, Old and New.
