  Repair of guttering.

  Midlands Roofing contacted me and asked for pictures, these were sent, they quoted. They arrived promptly to do the work and commenced following an inspection of all that needed doing including the garage guttering. The work was done swiftly and assurances were given that the repairs were complete they asked for bank payment before they left and departed at great speed as soon as payment was done. It was not until the next rainstorm was it evident that the repairs were not all effective and pictures of the leaks were sent. To date nothing has been done to repair the damage

  Ridged Tiles Repair

  Replacing and repointing 15 ridge tiles.

  They did a good job if expensive, however I’ve just noticed they broke a plastic gutter bracket due to the triple ladder used. A wooden post should have been placed in the gutter, this would have prevented this. The worst thing was I wasn’t told about this! Based on the cost of the job, I wouldn’t recommend.

  Ridged Tiles Repair

  After the high winds recently, a ridge tile had come adrift. James reseated all the ridge tiles.

  James and Steve did an excellent job, although I thought £1300 was expensive for just one of the ridges.

  Gutter repairs

  Midlands Roofing responded and came promptly. In the main the work was OK but there are 3 issues 1. Garage gutter not done at all. 2. Leak above side kitchen door not repaired. 3. Downpipe at front of house in worse condition than before their work. I was unable to identify these problems at the time until there was more rain. Payment was requested before their departure and once this was done they departed in a great hurry. I phoned the office for a copy of the guarantee but have not been sent one to date. I have advised them of the problems but to date no

  These guys are not Roofers!!!

  In the days following apparent completion of the work, we experienced internal water damage to several upstairs ceilings, which had not been the case previously. On returning to investigate the cause of the damage they said it wasn’t caused by any of their work but by 3 cracked tiles, which they then “sealed”. Subsequent investigation by another company highlighted the overall level of substandard work previously performed, which has resulted in new work & considerable expense & stress to us! We have pictures & videos to show the appalling state of the roof, as found by the new company.
