Painting a heritage barn.
Mike and Tony helped repaint an old barn of considerable heritage value. They advised on and supplied specialist paint for one side of the barn, painting the original timbers and more recently constructed 4m tall by 4m wide timber machinery doors as well as soffits and fascias. The rear barn wall is faced with cedar, which they advised was best left unpainted. They moved on to deal with the timber window frames on an 18th century listed thatched cottage, sanding, filling and re-painting in the hope that we will get five more years before replacing the frames entirely. Did it again!
Mike has recently completed Phase 2 of the decoration work on our cottage, having previously undertaken Phase 1 to the same excellent standard. He is easy to communicate with, reliable, and consistently delivers high-quality workmanship. His extensive knowledge of paint products and their suitability for different surfaces clearly reflects many years of experience in the trade. Established in 1989 I have had time to grow and change with the industry incorporating modern up to date traditional methods in all aspects of painting and decorating.
