  Door Stripping

  Posted 2 days ago

Strip an old heavily varnished and wood-stained door.

Miles did a great job. Paint stripper couldn’t remove all the wood stain, so Miles then used acetone which completed the job. He kept me well informed of progress throughout.

  Renovation of Memorial Bench

Miles did a fantastic job renovating my friend’s memorial bench, which had become badly weathered over time. He took great care throughout the whole process — first giving the bench a thorough clean to remove all the grime, then treating the teak with multiple coats to bring the wood back to life. The transformation was outstanding. The bench now looks fresh, protected, and exactly how a memorial piece should be cared for. Miles is reliable, skilled, and clearly knows how to treat hardwood properly. I would have absolutely no hesitation in asking him to do further work for me or recommending him to others. A top‑quality job from a top‑quality tradesman.

  Response from MILES INTERIORS

Thank you so much, Ray, for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It was a real pleasure restoring your friend’s memorial bench, and I’m so pleased you’re happy with how it turned out. It was important to me to take care with the wood and bring it back to a condition that does justice to such a special memorial. I really appreciate your kind words and recommendation — thank you again.
