    Incredible quality and attention to detail

    Mark has managed to transform the entrance to our home, he built a fantastic bespoke coat/shoe storage unit which he also designed, provided invaluable input and in addition panelled a wall and created a hidden door for my office. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark for any Job.

    Brilliant job Mark!

    Mark has just finished working at our house after changing the staircase, building pull out drawers under the stairs and changing all the doors in the house. His work has transformed our hallway and now it looks spectacular. It was a pleasure to have him in our house and see the amount of care , attention and skill he put into everything he did. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Thanks for a great job Mark.

    Absolutely delighted

    Mark built a bespoke wall of fitted wardrobes for me at the beginning of August. I am absolutely delighted with them, they are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Mark came and looked at the space, discussed my requirements and drew up plans. He sourced the handles I wanted and took just a day and a half to build the wardrobes of my dreams. Amazing. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend Mark.

    Mark fitted out our study for us with a bespoke desk unit and bookcases.

    Bespoke fitted wardrobe and new kitchen installation

    Mark at MKH has done a number of projects for us and is always a pleasure to work with. This time Mark designed and built a wardrobe into a sloped bedroom ceiling, fitted a new kitchen, and re-fitted units from the old kitchen into a utility room. His work is of an incredibly high standard, his attention to detail brilliant, communication excellent. He's also a great guy and a pleasure to have in the house. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

    Multiple carpentry projects

    Mark did all the carpentry in our dressing room, media room and also built a bookcase for us with a hidden door behind. We are delighted with the work and would highly recommend mark for any type of carpentry project.

Hi, I'm Mark.

I have been trading as MKH Carpentry since 1990, covering all of Hampshire,

After completing an extensive 5-year apprenticeship during which I won the apprentice of the year 1988. This gave me the opportunity to be trained by many skilled craftsmen during my working experience.

As a result, I am able to offer a wide range of carpentry, joinery, and cabinetry services, to a high standard. Specializing in bespoke, or made to measure built-in furniture; kitchens, bedroom wardrobes and freestanding furniture in many types of timber, including MDF for painting.

I also undertake high spec 2nd fix, stair banister renovation, sliding sash window construction, or renovation and decking. In fact, if you have a picture of something in timber, I can usually make it.

I start by visiting you at your home, discussing what you require, you will then receive a computer designed scale drawing to base the quotation on. On acceptance a date will be booked in my diary for the work to be undertaken.

All bespoke work is carried out in my small workshop, then fitted onsite by myself. My quotation will not allow for decoration, but I am able to recommend decorators if necessary.
