Garage conversion
10Excellent service and quality. From the initial quote to completion Marc took care of the project. This included the build itself but also arranging building control, window quotes, energy survey, electricians / heating engineers (we used Marc's recommended and they were both excellent as well). We will be back in contact again for future building work for sure.

Marc has project-managed the work and regularly met and discussed current and future progress. 10Verified ReviewWe have nothing but praise for Marc and his team who have been very pleasant and professional to deal with from start to finish of our build. He provided a full breakdown of the costs and a schedule of when each payment would be invoiced which enabled us to manage our finances smoothly. The builders were very considerate and tidied up at the end of each day, doing their utmost to preserve our lawn and garden. The build consisted of a utility, a toilet and separate shower and a lounge/bedroom and we would not hesitate to recommend Marc and his team.

10Verified ReviewMarc was brilliant from start to finish. He took care of all the plannings and engineering works as well as submitting all relevant forms to our local council. Kept us informed and updated at every stage. We could not fault his team of builders, they were professional family men who we got on well with, always on time and cleaned up every day after themselves. The brickwork was outstanding and even matched the white cladding on existing extension and looks amazing. They even kept all the dust to a minimum.We couldn’t believe our luck coming across M L Daws ltd and would definitely use again!

10Verified ReviewI have used Marc for three jobs, and will continue to use him. This, the third project, involved the removal of stud walls, internally insulating interior walls, insulation of the loft space, resiting radiators and associated plumbing, rewiring of parts of the building, replacements of soffits, fixing of drains and soakaways. Marc's team and his subcontractors work efficiently, and cleanly, and are constructive in suggesting useful improvements. They are good time keepers and work well to achieve promised completion dates. I would not hesitate to recommend this Company to people.

M L Daws Limited is a Lowestoft based family run building company set up by Marc Daws. Marc has over 20 years’ experience in the building industry and in his time has built up experience and understanding of all aspects of the industry. This is from the initial visit helping design and plan the project, liaising with building control and planning. Then sourcing the materials, setting out the site, building the structure through to installing the bathroom suite and applying the finishing touches.
M L Daws Limited has gained a local reputation of an honest, professional, friendly and reliable building company resulting in many recommendations and repeat customers. We have a portfolio of professional domestic building work all completed to the highest standards with attention to detail.
M L Daws Limited offers a design and planning service for domestic projects including extensions, refurbishments, renovations, garage/loft conversions and new dwellings. Marc is more than happy to come out discuss your ideas to see what is achievable whether planning would be required or permitted development, from there we can create professional technical drawings including any structural calculations and building regulations required to assist with your planning application or to be used by the builder in costing the project and in carrying out the work to your design avoiding any miscommunication.
No matter what aspect of the project it is Marc believes in a no nonsense approach with professionalism, high quality work, involving the customer and keeping them informed throughout to be of top priority. We can obviously offer our services right through the project but there is no obligation if you use our drawing and planning services to employ us as the builders nor if we have not been involved with the planning side would we not want to carry out the building work, we are happy to be involved in either aspect of your project and look forward to hearing from you.
