We first met Marek when we needed some urgent roof work done to stop a leak. He and his business partner were reliable, punctual and happy to fit in a relatively small job around other bigger commitments at that time. We were impressed with the work and service so we invited Marek to quote for a much bigger job - a total renovation of our flat. On the whole we are pleased and would recommend Marek. He was supportive, reliable and hard working. However towards the end and after the balance was paid there was less attention to finishes, and there are still mistakes that require correcting.

The second time Marek and Maciej have done a bathroom for me and I'm always really happy with their work. I live alone and always feel very supported by Marek. He often has good suggestions to make things work within my budget, and I know he'd be back to help if there were any problems afterwards! Reliable, and once booked in, there wasn't a working day when they weren't here and so the job was completed in a very timely manner.

Definitely recommend Marek and his team. He did everything well, was punctual and kept me informed throughout the project. Was also able to resolve a few issues from the kitchen supplier and came up with solutions as we had to do the project over Christmas. He also came back post completion of the job to resolve anything else that was required to finish the kitchen to a good standard.

Marek and Majek were very professional with their estimates, time management and commitments. The works were carried out on schedule and to a high quality. The budget did go over by a few hundred pounds but all extra costs were discussed beforehand. Would highly recommend.

MM builders led by Marek are nice and polite but it ends there. Very messy and dirty! Do they actually have any qualifications at all. Used Checkatrade for peace of mind and instead I got very mediocre work. No attention to details. Every single item is either incorrectly installed or damaged or both. Did not get any apologies whatsoever. I gave Marek a defects list to look at, he clearly was not interested as his ego is far too big to accept any mistakes. Things go wrong and it did and I paid the price, shoddy work. Too many jobs, rushing everywhere. Want to hire MM builder think again!!

I can now share their positive comments in relationship to the quality of the workmanship and the very satisfactory relationship I had with this small firm. The work involved major changes to the plumbing for all appliances, the creation of a shower cubicle, laying new acrylic tile flooring, new lighting system, new shelving. From day 1 they took measures to minimise impact on the rest of my house.Their timekeeping was as agreed and they met all agreed deadlines. They built a relationship of trust.
