A service with a smile and a whole load of cheek!
Tony gave my car a full service, and although, due to circumstances beyond either of our control, I had to go back on day 2 for the work to be completed, I am extremely happy with the work done and the price I paid. I would happily recommend Tony and his company to anyone wanting work done in the Swindon area. I will deffo be going back, for car maintenance, advice and some healthy banter that had both of us laughing. Thank you, yes, we had restrictions on time and you had to return the next day, alls well, that ends well. See you in the new year, to sort your air-conditioning. We have become a drop in centre for the locals, that does sometimes cause delays.

Excellent Service
I found Tony on Google after having the most awful experience from Halfords in Swindon. His communication was fast, and he looked at the car as a matter of urgency. I’m a nurse and he got me back on the road within 48hours. I’m so grateful. It was cheaper than Halfords. He was more professional, honest and transparent. I’ll never go elsewhere now. Clutch kit Replacement
My car was booked in to have a clutch kit fitted but after they had collected my car and drove it back to there work shop I was advised it did not need doing at this point so I had them carry out a Service and a damaged pulley that was spotted very honest and reliable guys highly recommended 100% use them again and I've already put word out thanks guysVerified reviewerJob location: SN30 Posted 14 October 2023

Poor service and total let down. The date was arranged and was cancelled on day by mechanic just because I sent an eta request on the day, and a job confirmation request the night before. This gentleman had a service booked in with us. The evening before I sent him a polite message to inform him that I had to visit the local hospital for an X-ray and 2 other jobs to attend, before my visit to him. On the day of the appointment he texted and asked for an ETA, rather than text him I called him straight away, telling him, I would be with him as soon as I could but could not give him a specific time. He then became verbally abusive so I told him that I didn't work for rude customers and that I had cancelled his booking. I then received a vile text message from him

Mobile Motoring Maintenance was started by Tony Ellis who has over 30 years experience in motor mechanics. He began working as a mechanic aged 16 when he joined the army with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Then after leaving the army in 1988 he began working as a mobile mechanic and began his own business in 1993. Since then has expanded his mobile mechanics business in the Swindon area and now employs a team of fully trained technicians and mechanics.
