I had an inspection for worm. All very profesionally done, extremely informative. Very reasonable price. I will be going to them for the treatment for sure.

    Highly recommended

I can’t recommend Joe enough. I found Joe through Checkatrade and contacted him to deal with the damp I had in my utility room. From start to finish I found Joe incredibly professional and knowledgeable, the work was completed within 2 days and everything tidied up afterwards. I would definitely use Joe again and recommend him to friends and family.

    Damp Survey

    Damp Survey

Joe did a really thorough and honest survey for us as we purchased our home last year and wanted to know what if any significant concerns may have been missed in initial house survey. Joe explained as he did the survey and was very reassuring. Thankfully no major concerns and survey reflected minor improvements which we have made and also listed further work we could do to improve air flow. Very efficient and knowledgeable and highly recommended service. Thanks Joe!

    Damp Investigation

    Posted 15 June

    Excellent service by Joe

We had a damp survey carried out by Joe and it was excellent. Very detailed and highlighted the issues that we needed. We then got a really good quote and Joe carried out the works for us in March this year to a very high standard and we’re really pleased. Joe has just completed some outdoor timber work as well which is to the highest standard. I would highly recommend Joe he is fast efficient cost-effective and a really nice guy!

    Damp work and plastering

We have used Joe before for damp proofing in our living room and got him back out to have a look at an issue in our bedroom and porch. He diagnosed the problem and gave us a good option to solve it. He managed to get us in within a few weeks and the work was done over 2 days. Happy with the work done and also the resonable price. He turned up promptly each day and cleaned up as he went. Would recommend and use again

Welcome to Mothline Preservation Ltd.

At Mothline Preservation Ltd, we specialise in all aspects of plastering, damp proofing, cavity wall insulation removal, structural repairs, and CCTV drain surveys across the South Coast.

We have built our reputation through hard work, attention to detail, and word-of-mouth, and we're committed to the high standards our customers expect.

Our services cover all forms of damp proofing, including the installation of new damp proof courses, condensation and mould control, penetrating damp investigations, timber treatments, and specialist damp surveys for residential and commercial properties. We also provide professional CCTV drain surveys to help identify hidden drainage defects that may be contributing to damp and structural issues within a property.

With specialist equipment and years of hands-on experience, we diagnose the root cause of defects rather than just treating the symptoms. Whether it’s a small repair or a larger preservation project, we are committed to delivering honest advice, high-quality workmanship, and long-lasting solutions.

Please take a look through our gallery to see examples of the work we have carried out. We offer free, no-obligation quotations and are always happy to discuss your requirements.

We proudly cover Southampton, Hampshire, and the wider South Coast area.
