Before cleaning and repair
The stone pinnacles were in need of repair. Our team chiseled the old repairs back to a solid stone base before carrying out repairs
defective areas of the pinnacle have been repaired in a lime mortar bath stone premix as original. Notice triangular details have been built up in stages and reformed as originally was

3 apex areas to the vestry were in need of major repair. Pullen restoration carried out new bath stone coping replacements where necessary.
Cleaning and raking out started on the far right apex. Notice the whole half sections of stone hood mould has been cut back flat to the wall line, (directly above the red arch brickwork).This enables our masons to take an accurate template of the curve. Once this task is carried out we can then get the new stone in production.

This photo shows all the cleaning, repointing, all 3 hood moulds taken out , templated , and re fixed in new bath stone.We also carried out mortar repairs to some of the buttress stones, and detailed stones around the hoppers at the top of the gutters.
