Do not use - takes money but no work
I have been in contact with Paul at MrBevans. To carry out a roof clean for me. 16th April- We agreed a price, he wanted payment up front which I wasn’t comfortable with, but I transferred £75 to his account to pay for the biocide he was going to use. Date agreed 19/4 - but no show & no communication for weeks. Agreed 5th May to let him complete. No show again and no communication since. Roof Repair
work was agreed on the 5th April 2024 A pre payment for materials was made by transfer to Mr Bevan The work to commence on the 20th April 2024 On the morning the work was scheduled it was cancelled by Mr Bevan as he said he had a personal emergency It was re scheduled for the following week 27th April 2024 I made contact with Mr Bevan the day before to confirm the work was taking place. He confirmed it was. On the 27th April he advised a delayed start from 9am to 12pm. Avoid
Paul came and quoted for clearing and cleaning the gutters. He requested a booking fee of £50 to secure the date, this was paid. The first time he was due to come he cancelled because of the weather, fair enough it was very windy. The second time he cancelled was due to broken equipment. The third time he cancelled on the morning we were expecting him, no phone call, just an email. I had already tried to ring and got no response. The email stated that he was unable to complete the work and would return the £50. Replacing roof tiles
Responded quickly to my initial enquiry; came out to look at the work required on same day; carried out the job the following morning. Very efficient, friendly, courteous - lovely guys, Paul and Tyler. Wouldn’t hesitate to call on them again. Highly recommend.
