About Mr Charger

We have been installing EV charging points since 2016. We have local offices and engineers across the UK. All installations are carried out by fully qualified and trained engineers. Mr Charger Essex is your local office with a dedicated administration and engineer team.

Our local team are here to support you through the installation journey. From support with our remote site survey's, through to installation, training and then full support once the charging point goes live.

The process

Complete our remote site survey
Our qualified staff review the details from the survey. If additional information is required, we will contact you.
Phone call to discuss your EV charger of choice
Installation booked (typically within 7 - 14 days of receiving the survey)
Local DNO contacted to inform them of your new charger being installed (this is a legal requirement)
Installation completed and full certification sent

To confirm our service includes:

Supply of your preferred charger
Installation
Commissioning the charger, which includes training on the app
Handing over installation certificate for your records

Standard installation terms

A maximum run of 10 meters of cable from charging point to the consumer unit
All cables will be clipped direct
No groundwork will be undertaken
The property earth arrangement must comply with the current regulations
The charging unit must be installed on the property and be able to use its earthing arrangement
Any nonstandard installs can be discussed on a case-by-case basis

Quality and auditing

All our installations are carried out by our in-house engineering teams, and we will never subcontract out any of our installations
All driver information is securely stored, and we will never share / sell any data
Every installation will comply to the latest charge point and electrical standards / regulations
For a complete audit trail, we capture photos, pre and post installation
Every installation is reviewed and scored by our in-house technical team to ensure company wide installation excellence
