I found Mr. Gregory, Painter and Decorator, through Checkatrade and engaged him to carry out painting work throughout my entire house, including varnishing all of the wooden doors. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the work has been very disappointing and falls well below the standard that was promised. The main issues are as follows: The wooden doors were not varnished as agreed. The overall standard of painting and finishing is poor and lacks professionalism. The workmanship does not reflect the quality I expected based on the representations made before the work started.

Gregory has done a wonderful job of painting our lounge, hall and main bedroom. He is meticulous in his preparation and the quality of his painting is excellent. He is a quiet worker who puts in a solid day's work and doesn't waste your time. He is busy and so you may have to wait to get a slot when he is free but it is worth waiting. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with the work overall. He was friendly, punctual, and accommodating to our schedule. He did a great job freshening up our old doors, wonky walls and got everything completed on time as promised. The price was very reasonable, and the results reflect that.

Gregory was excellent. Always on time and did an outstanding professional job for painting inside and outside of our house. He was very diligent and completed a lot of work in a short space of time. Gregory was also very friendly and a pleasure to meet. He also made himself available on short notice for follow-up additional work that we decided we needed completed. I would highly recommend.
